Milestones ...

From St Mary’s, South Perrott & Chedington in Dorset to St Andrew's Chapel, Steart on the Bristol Channel, the River Parrett flows past many of Somerset’s most lovely churches. I am making a pilgrimage, visiting all 37 or so churches and Parishes along the River Parrett. The churches have all been incredibly welcoming, offering beautiful vistas over surrounding countryside, cultural treasures within and, above all, time and space just to be.

My pilgrimage is a thanksgiving for the milestone anniversary of my baptism (Christening) as a baby at St John the Baptist Church, Bridgwater. I’m travelling in stages, as my job as a Vicar in Hertfordshire allows.
